Collam Daan

Explanation

I was reading The World of Robert Jordan's The Wheel Of Time (chapter 4) and the above image came to me really strong. I thought "I don't think anyone has done an Age of Legends render yet" so I set about to create it. The ripple effect was done in Photoshop (please take note of the reflection in the Sharom as well) as were the clothes. I will state right now that I SUCK at drawing clothes. In the upper left hand corner is a sho-wing, described as "...a basic delta-wing pattern, which is varied to suit the specific needs of each individual purpose". I was going to put a jo-car in there, but then it started to look crowded.
