JordanCon 2011 will take place April 15-17, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia in Atlanta, Georgia. Our Guest of Honor this year is David B. Coe, the Crawford award winning author of the LonTobyn Chronicle and the Winds of the Forelands series. David will be joined by Special Guest Nebula Award winner Eugie Foster, who’s novelette “Sinner, Baker, Fabulist, Priest, Red Mask, Black Mask, Gentleman, Beast” is nominated for a Hugo at this year’s WorldCon.
Our programming this year will once again include our popular Forum, Writer’s and Workshop tracks. New for 2011 will a Gaming track, which will feature our Seanchan Hold’em Charity Poker game, “Are you a Darkfriend?” and the ever popular Magic: The Gathering, along with a host of other RPGs, CCGs and whatever else you can shake some funny looking dice at. Also new this year will be the “Kaffeklatch”, a long running tradition in convention fandom. This track will give you the opportunity for some one on one time with the guests and select program participants at the convention. We’ll post details about how to register for these events as we get closer to the convention.
Preregistration for JordanCon 2011 is $45 until December 31st.
